Zimbabwe

Impact visits Zimbabwe and sees positive signs of transformation and church growth in the nation. Faith Ministries and Impact International both founded by Alastair Geddes join in promoting Kingdom Add-On for the purpose of national transformation.

Faith Ministries (founded in 1976 by Alastair Geddes) has grown over the years with now over fifty churches nationwide. The Harare elebration with 3,000 adults and over 1,000 children. (Sunday October 25, 2009)

 

South Africa

Alastair visits son Craig and his new wife Angela in Johannesburg, South Africa after a successful visit to Zimbabwe. Craig works for JAM, an NGO feeding 500,000 children each day around the continent.

Angela (photo/journalist) works for World Children’s Fund, a US based children’s relief agency. Angela travels around Africa reporting for WCF.



One of the school feeding programs sponsored by JAM – just a part of the 500,000 children JAM feeds daily – Impact makes plans to  participate with the children of Door Of Hope. 


Sudan

The Impact model of legacy through the next generation is no better exemplified than through Craig Geddes, the 28 year old son of Impact founder Alastair Geddes. Craig travels Africa as Programs Director with Joint Aid Management of South Africa.


In November 2009 Craig traveled to Sudan to report on the JAM feeding program in-country and lead a training program. (See Craig’s photo album). Living and working conditions in Sudan are primitive.

Impact's First Clinic Begins The Transformation Model 

Our First Clinic
Joshua, the Impact Director for India and Asia, introduced Impact to Sam and Beena and their home for children in Chennai, India. Their home (an orphanage) gave us new insight into how Impact desires to pattern its future homes for orphaned children. Sam and Beena are parents to the nineteen children, loving and caring for them in a family atmosphere and raising them as Christian children.
