Impact International supports orphaned children in Mexico, Africa and India and the fit with Danita’s Children in Haiti seemed a natural one.
Carol and Alastair recently visited Danita’s Children in Haiti and had a wonderful and eye opening experience. Danita’s Children works with almost 100 orphaned children (30+ from the recent earthquake) and they have a school for 500 children from the community.
Danita's Children also has a clinic with a new larger four story clinic under construction, and one of the most endearing projects – a special needs house for children who have physical and emotional difficulties unable to be handled in the typical orphanage environment.
The children were so loveable. Alastair and Carol ended up sponsoring a child, Watson.
Once Watson learned that Alastair’s middle name was Watson, he became Alastair’s shadow for the remainder of the visit.
Apart of the mission:
Part of the mission statement of Impact International (founded by Alastair and Carol) is to deposit into the lives of the next generation and leave a legacy for generations to come. It is a wonderful honor to be able to mentor and deposit into lives around the world, but an even greater reward and joy to see the deposit bear fruit in our own children. Craig and Angela (traveling the world at this time) are seeking their next God assignment to work with hurting people. Laura is an attorney in West Palm Beach with a passion for Christy’s House. Her husband Rene is an equal part of the legacy and works for Campus Crusade For Christ in Palm Beach. What a joy to bring the family together to serve the needs of children around the world.

The Beautiful Black Isle
"We decided to set off on a day trip to explore the area of the beautiful Black Isle of Scotland. Filled with amazing little towns, wonderful landscape and incredible coast, we were able to see even more differing landscape of this great country. For me, exploring it as an adult has been a wonderful experience – I have come to realize just how beautiful this country is."
